Welcome to the Rosethorn Tennis Club

Rosethorn Tennis Club is a community based club that is located in Etobioke at the corner of Great Oak Drive and Reminton Drive, just south of the Rosethorn Junior Public School. The closest main intersection is Kipling and Rathburn Avenue. The Club has 3 courts, that were recently resurfaced and are lit at night till 11 pm.

We offer several house leagues: a Men's house league on Monday night, a Ladies house league on Wednesday evening and a Mixed house league on Thursday morning. Our house leagues operate from May to October.

We will have serveral competitive teams: 2 intercounty C teams, 2 intercounty B teams, a junior team and a ladies daytime competitive team for the spring session only.

New Executive Elected

At the AGM on October 15th a new executive was elected. Thanks to all those who attended and participated. We are looking forward to another great season of tennis and exceptional programs in 2012.

Membership Renewals

Membership renewals will be accepted as of February 1st, 2012. Information will be forwarded to existing members in January 2012. Online registration and payment via email transfer is encouraged. We are also in the process of making some changes to the online registration form to make program selection easier.

New Changes at the Courts

There is a new sign-up board for court/playing time. Changeover bells have been turned off as we are moving to changeovers every 45 minutes. Courts must be relinquished to those who have put their name on the sign-up board for the next time slot and are waiting at the courts, a minimum of 5 minutes before the court becomes available. If you are NOT there you will lose your spot to the next waiting couple/foursome.

The person booking the court must be a member of Rosethorn Tennis Club.

Court time may be claimed only when properly booked. Full instructions are posted on the bulletin board.
